How to report a claim from nnwdziecka insurance?

A short and clear guide prepared by our team for reporting a claim from TU Compensa "Ubezpieczenie NNW Szkolne".

1. Go to zgloszenie.compensa.pl.

- select "Osoba"

- then select the type of claim "NNW"

- proceed to the next step by clicking "PRZEJDŹ DALEJ"

2. Policy details

- type of claim "Osoba"

- select "NNW z polisy innej niż komunikacyjna", policy type "184 - Ubezpieczenie szkolne"; the policy number is on the document we sent (we always email the policy after purchase, you can also download it by logging into your CTU.pl account)

- in the next steps, enter the date of the event and select the type of benefit (death or permanent damage)

Remember

You have up to 3 years from the date of the event to report a claim, so you don’t have to do it immediately. It’s best to report after treatment is completed, when all necessary medical documentation has been collected.

3. Contact person – provide the details of the person reporting the claim (the phone number is verified by SMS). Please enter:

- first name, last name,

- PESEL number,

- email address, phone number,

- address details

- who the reporter is (e.g. legal guardian, insured, agent, etc.)

- bank account number to which the benefit should be paid and the account holder.

4. Fill in the fields describing the accident history (if the child was injured, you can claim from several coverages, e.g. permanent damage to health, treatment costs, rehabilitation costs).

5. Enter the insured child’s / parent’s details.

6. Confirm the completed form.

7. After sending the claim, you can attach scans of documents related to the incident (hospital discharge summary, invoices made out to the child from a doctor/physiotherapist, police reports if any). You can also send documents by email: [email protected]

8. Wait for TU Compensa’s response. The insurer has 30 days to process your claim, but typically you will receive a response in about ten days.
